Early Childhood Education (Infant-Grade 1)
Bob Jones Academy’s early childhood education programs strive to provide Christ-centered care in a clean, safe and stimulating environment and to assist parents in the nurturing of their child’s physical, emotional and spiritual development.
Teaching God’s Word is an essential part in accomplishing this goal. Through teaching Bible stories, songs and verses in the classroom, we seek to lay a solid biblical foundation that emphasizes the necessity of a personal faith in Christ for both salvation and Christian living.
Infant Through Age 3
Our program offers:
- A loving staff thoroughly trained in elementary education, childhood education or child care
- A distinctly biblical education within a fun atmosphere
- A healthy ratio of staff to children that exceeds most day care providers, which guarantees that your child will receive individual love and attention
- CPR and First Aid-certified teachers
- Clean, safe and well-equipped classrooms

7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
K4-1st Grade
We offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum featuring active, hands-on learning, which focuses on helping children thrive and reach their full potential socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually.
In conjunction with classroom instruction, teachers plan enrichment activities such as theme days and field trips. Weekly classes include art, music, Spanish, library and physical education.
Our entire curriculum is Christ-centered and anchored in a biblical worldview.
Core Development Classes and Resources Include:
Music Class
Music is a wonderful tool that can be used for brain development. Our program exposes children to a variety of styles, cultures and techniques. Children have the opportunity to play instruments, learn about composers, learn fun and exciting songs, and develop a love for music.
Art Class
Our children are encouraged to be creative through the use of many different techniques and materials. We emphasize the process versus the product, praising the child for his or her individual creation.
Computers
Our computer lab offers a variety of educational software allowing the children to learn through interactive play.

Kindergarten:
K4: Half-day session 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Full-day session 8 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
K5: Half-day session 8 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Full-day session 8 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Late stay available until 5:30 p.m.
Daily attendance is encouraged for K4 and expected for K5.
Grade 1:
Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Late stay available until 5:30 p.m.
