Faculty Story & Media Submission Guide

Every day, God is writing stories throughout BJA. Our social media is an intentional storytelling platform designed to strengthen our brand, celebrate what God is doing and invite future families into our community.

To that end our goal is not to post everything that happens on campus, but to intentionally share the stories that best reflect our mission and help others understand what makes BJA unique.  Because you are on the front lines of the student experience, you see meaningful moments every day, so we would love your help identifying and sharing those moments.

Share your story with your division’s Story Coordinator

  • Primary Center: Sandy Mehus
  • Elementary: Sandy Mehus
  • Middle: Sarah Walters
  • High: Ginny Richmond

Include:

  • Visuals (your division story coordinator will vet for any “no photo permission” situations)
    • High-quality photos or vertical video
    • Email or upload to Google Drive rather than texting when possible
  • Story details
    • A brief description of what happened
    • Why the moment was meaningful
    • Which content theme it supports

Your story may be

  • Shared on Social Media
  • Shared in level newsletters
  • Saved for future marketing campaigns

Not every submission becomes a social media post, but every submission helps us tell the BJA story.

Content Themes:

  • Eternity Focused (Godward) Stories that demonstrate how Christ is central to the BJA experience: Chapel, Bible Classes, missions, biblical worldview integration, spiritual growth….
  • Growing & Humble (Inward) Stories that celebrate learning, growth, and the pursuit of excellence. Classroom learning, academic excellence, student success, fine arts, athletics, leadership, competitions….
  • Transparent & Unified (Together) Stories that highlight the relationships that make BJA special. Faculty spotlights, mentoring, alumni, parent involvement, service, campus culture, Student life….
  • Excellent & Loving (Outward) Stories that invite others to become part of the BJA family. Academic Office, Admissions, open houses, Community invitations, Vision Night, Advancement….

Our goal is to move from reporting events to telling stories. Help extend the reach by liking, commenting, and sharing BJA’s posts on your personal page.

Thank you for helping us share the stories that demonstrate why Eternity Matters More!
