What is it?
Students who take summer school (grades 9-12) are able to take additional electives during the school year or make up credits they lack. Because summer school is both challenging and condenses a full year’s coursework for one subject into a six-week period, summer school students attend every day, except in the case of illness.
When is it?
The 2026 summer session begins on Monday, May 18, and concludes with exams on Friday, June 26. During the first three weeks classes meet Monday through Friday, 7:40 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.; there is no school on Memorial Day. During the second three weeks classes meet Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.
What does it cost?
Tuition for summer school is listed on our tuition page.
How do I register?
Information about and access to summer school registration will be available in the Lion’s Roar by the beginning of April each year.
