Art
Students at every grade level are taught to observe, create, and grow in skill. Younger students build foundational techniques and confidence, while older students refine their abilities through more advanced work in drawing, painting, and design. Across all levels, the focus is on developing both craftsmanship and thoughtful expression.
Music
Music is a core part of student life at BJA, beginning with early exposure and growing into more structured ensemble experiences. Students develop musical skills, learn to work together, and gain confidence through performance. Each stage builds on the last, creating a strong foundation in both skill and discipline.

Speech
Students develop communication skills through public speaking, debate, and drama, beginning in middle school and expanding into competitive and performance opportunities.
BJA’s program includes competitive speech and debate teams with more than a dozen state championships, alongside theater productions that build confidence, collaboration, and stage presence.
