AVI Fresh Meals
New for Fall 2026!
We’re working on improving our processes to better serve our families and lower costs for hot lunches.
Some details are still to be worked out, but here’s a sneak preview. Parents will pre-order hot lunches on FACTS by Wednesday 11 a.m. for the following week. This will significantly improve the planning for fresh lunches as well as significantly reducing food waste. Cost savings will be passed along to our families in the form of significantly reduced meal rates.
Packaged a la carte items, including include heathy protein and fruit options, will be available without preorder. This will allow an easy solution for last-minute lunch needs or to replace “seconds,” which will no longer be offered.
Look for additional details–specific costs, specific a la carte items, and more–a few weeks before school begins.
Managing funds in your family’s prepaid account
- Check out the current menu & rates [see “BJA Menu” link at the top of the page].
- Add funds to your FACTS Family Portal prepaid account.
- Current balances are live, as lunch charges are made against the pre-paid balance when the student goes through the hot lunch line.
Student Lunch Orders
- Menus are available here [see “BJA Menu” link at the top of the page].
- Parents order desired hot meals on FACTS Family Portal by Wednesday at 11 a.m. for the upcoming week.
- Parents: You’re welcome to enjoy an AVI Fresh lunch with your child! Call the school office by Wednesday at 11 a.m. for a meal for the upcoming week. The cost is deducted from your prepaid family account.
- For last-minute needs, a la carte items can be purchased without pre-order. These include healthy options that can be put together for a lunch “meal.”
- High school student pick up their AVI Fresh meal at Middle School Cafeteria by showing their BJA ID card
- In the rare instance when a student comes to school without a lunch and without sufficient funds for lunch, a parent will be notified to bring a meal.
Markham Center Meals (9–12)
High school students have an additional hot lunch opportunity.
- The Markham Center offers a meal from a different Greenville restaurant each day.
- Students sign up for the day’s lunch by 11 a.m. at Markham Center counter or order through Clover.
- Payment is by cash, credit/debit card, or Markham Center gift card.
