Wednesday through Friday, October 21–23, 7th-graders enjoyed their annual class trip. Partnering with Camp Infinity (a Christian STEM camp), the class visited the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky., and the Museum of Natural History and Science in the Cincinnati Museum Center. The trip focused on contrasting biblical and naturalistic worldviews and challenging students to know what they believe and why they believe it. The students attended an astronomy presentation followed by the opportunity to view celestial objects through several telescopes as well as numerous exhibits, the planetarium and other presentations offered at the Creation Museum. They also enjoyed riding zip lines, the Q&As with CM speakers, playing at the camp where they stayed, and eating lots of good food. The trip concluded in Cincinnati with skeletons and fossils of the same kind they had seen at the CM but presented from an entirely different perspective. All in all, it was a great trip!
