The high school Chromebook initiative was launched on January 8, 2018! Students received Chromebooks at four different locations at four different times in the afternoon. Faculty and students worked together to set up the Chromebooks. Students also attended a general information session covering topics such as general care, security, filtering and monitoring, and some do’s and don’ts regarding using their Chromebooks.
Students and teachers are already experiencing the benefits of our new one-to-one program. The integration of technology through Google Classroom, collaborative projects, e-textbooks, and independent research are just some of the ways teachers and students are experiencing the added value of the one-to-one initiative. We thank the Lord for His blessing us with dozens of people in several different departments working together for the last eight months on this project. Special thanks to the BJU IT Department and to BJU Press for collaborating with us to see this plan become a reality!
