The week of November 11 will present a special opportunity for our students to serve the community by bringing a variety of supplies to school for these needs.
- K3–5: Nonperishable food items for Thanksgiving food baskets for needy families. BJU’s ministerial students distribute the baskets. Last year more than 90 families received packages.
- 6–8: Supplies for Miracle Hill Children’s Home. In over 30 years of this collection, BJA students have provided 500,000 pounds of food, paper supplies, and cleaning products for Miracle Hill. Last year students collected more than 17,000 pounds, and since we’re adding another grade level to our efforts this year, we know we can make an even greater impact and reach a higher goal.
- 9–12: Paper goods for Shepherd’s Gate, the Miracle Hill women’s home. Students often provide enough paper towels, tissues, and other paper products for nine months of operation. Students will receive specific information at school.
