March 31, 2020
The last few weeks have been uniquely challenging as we adjust daily to the coronavirus updates. Knowing that BJA will now be closed at least through April 30, we have been able to consider the implications for you as parents of a K3, K4, or K5 student. Most of the instructional objectives are taught in the mornings with reinforcement and other activities reserved for the afternoons. Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that we are crediting your April school bill (which is for the period March 16 – April 15) for $160—the difference between a full-day and half-day tuition. We will credit the May bill (the last bill for the ten-pay tuition program for 2019-2020) the same amount ($160) regardless of whether or not we complete the final two weeks of the school year in the classroom or online. This is a flat credit for all full-day paying K3-K5 students—even those who already enjoy the multi-child discount.
Our teachers have been working overtime over the past two weeks to retool and video lessons in SeeSaw for your children. They miss your children and would prefer to have them together in their classrooms but want to assist you with quality instruction that you are accustomed to during this crisis period.
We long to return to normal and look forward to gathering again according to the Lord’s timing. We are praying for you and ask you to pray for our teachers.
If you have any questions, please contact Melodye Snyder, Jenny Copeland, or me.
May the Lord bless you and provide your needs. God is good.
