As announced last semester, BJA is offering students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to study abroad during the Summer of 2022. Study Abroad: STEM in Iceland is a 7-day course that gives students opportunities for exposure to STEM disciplines and to develop global fluency taught from the perspective of a biblical worldview. The course will receive one-half credit. The course aims to connect what students have learned in their classes to real world examples of science, engineering, mathematics, and technology. It is also designed to provide students an international setting where they can develop and apply the skills of understanding, working within, and discerning a foreign culture. Course details here.
An interest meeting will also be held on Monday, October 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Academy Auditorium. All parents and students are welcome to come to find out more about this opportunity.
