Introductory Art
Designed to give the beginning student a foundation in basic art principles and media. Concentrates on two-dimensional art and design. Involves studio work in drawing, painting, printmaking and other mixed media; develops skills in sketching, contour drawing, perspective and the elements of art. Gives three-dimensional experience in ceramics. Explores art history and stresses the beauties of the Creator and artistic abilities supplied to man.
- Materials: sketch book; 2B, 4B, H pencils; pink pearl eraser; kneaded eraser
Advanced Art
Builds on the student’s knowledge of two-dimensional and three-dimensional art by exploring various art forms such as drawing, printmaking, painting, ceramics, and sculpture. Explores a variety of media and subject matter intended to further develop their individual skills and creativity. Primarily project-based with assigned and independent work required.

Introduction to Graphic Design
Explores elements and principles of design and their effective application in graphic arts. Familiarizes students with the computer as a design tool. Utilizes Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop. Includes taking design projects from initial brainstorming to a finished design piece.
