Bob Jones Academy first-graders learned about reading lines in a play, actors using cues and directors assembling casts of characters. Then they used what they learned as they read plays in their reading books and practiced for class programs that they will perform for their parents and classmates. Culminating their studies, the students had the opportunity to visit the stage departments inside BJU’s Rodeheaver Auditorium. They toured the costume room, saw how props are made and used, rode the orchestra lift, and saw firsthand what it is like backstage in a real production. It was a great day of learning!
