Monday evening (March 11) marked the opening of the Bob Jones Academy Elementary School Art Show. Students, family and friends enjoyed refreshments as they wandered through the show and enjoyed a wide variety of student art. One hundred seventy-five students, grades K4 through 6, submitted artwork in a variety of categories—including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, computer and mixed media. The show also includes a mixed category for teachers.
Judges Choice ribbons were awarded on each grade level. These winners are Shannon Gallagher, K4; Brady Barnhart, K5; Zachary Goodman, 1st grade; Joshua McKenney, 2nd grade; Kieron Dickinson and Chloe Harrison, 3rd grade; Sarah Tufts, 4th grade; Olivia Huskey, 5th grade; Belle Bryan, 6th grade. The show will be on display in the BJA Elementary Main Building through March 20 and can be viewed during normal school hours.
