The school play at Bob Jones Academy Middle School is a much-anticipated annual event. Seventh- and eighth-grade students comprise the cast as well as the makeup, costumes, stage and technical crews. It’s a long-standing tradition for the MS students to perform children’s theater and to include a special performance for some of their younger classmates in the elementary grades. This year’s production was Charlotte’s Web; and parents, grandparents and of course, younger siblings were treated to the endearing story of Charlotte’s self-sacrificing words in the web to save “some pig,” Wilbur.
