Bob Jones Academy girls volleyball players enjoyed a 4-day volleyball camp hosted by Hampton Park Christian School in Greenville. Clinician Dr. Vickie Denny, department head for Clearwater Christian College’s Exercise and Sport Science Program, is also a highly successful women’s volleyball team head coach—winning six NCCAA national championships in a row. Nine girls from BJA participated in the camp, and it was very intense but lots of fun. The team is looking forward to much improvement throughout the summer as they prepare for our fall season.
Hannah Largent was nominated by the coaches to receive the Camper of the Week award; and Christine Formanack, Ashlyn Stephens and Amanda Leatherwood received awards throughout the week as well.
