In November high school students had the opportunity to participate in a Paper Drive for Shepherd’s Gate, a ministry of Miracle Hill which provides shelter and gospel-centered help to battered and homeless women and children. In light of the season of giving and being thankful, the high school classes donated paper goods to provide over 90 percent of Shepherd’s Gate’s yearly paper supply.
The freshmen gave napkins, the sophomores tissues, the juniors paper towels and the seniors toilet paper. BJA has participated in the paper drive for many, many years; and the students enjoy showing Christlike love to the neighboring community and helping others without getting anything in return.
