The ornaments and the garland were hung. The lights were lit. The BJA trees were complete! Out of 60 entries, the BJA entry won second place! Special congratulations to our students. Using a variety of print materials—from newspapers to magazines to paper tablets— elementary students created the beautiful ornaments while middle school art students designed decorative text items depicting our theme, “Good News.” This theme directs viewers to the true Good News of Christmas—Christ is born! The trees are located in the lobbies of both the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville and Baptist Easley Hospital in Easley. Both exhibits were open until Christmas.
In addition, a gingerbread village was created by the sixth-grade Christian Service Organization (CSO) students. It was on display in the lobby of Baptist Easley Hospital as part of its Festival of Trees exhibit.
