Boys soccer and girls volleyball tryouts are over, the teams are set. This year the Academy will field six interscholastic soccer and volleyball teams—junior varsity teams have been added to the lineup of middle school and varsity teams.
The Lions junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams will open their seasons Thursday, August 28, with away games against the Greenville Hurricanes. Junior varsity soccer will open the following day, August 29, with a home game against the Easley Guardians. The varsity soccer team opens season play on September 5 against the Greenville Hurricanes. The middle school teams will kick of their seasons against Shannon Forest on Thursday (soccer) and Friday (volleyball) of this week.
The SCACS State Champion varsity girls volleyball and varsity boys soccer teams begin defense of their 2013 titles with much enthusiasm for the season.
