“Salutations! It’s Charlotte’s Web Day!” The huge sign welcomed students to step into the classroom for a fun day centered around one of the most beloved classics of all time.During the month of October, first-graders in Miss Klipp’s class at Bob Jones Academy learned important lessons from E.B. White’s famous book, Charlotte’s Web. To celebrate the end of the unit, each child dressed as a character from the book. This special day included piggy phonics, fly swatter math, spider painting, fun snacks, and character lessons about loving others who may seem at first like unlikely friends.
