The end of the school year yields final concerts and programs as Bob Jones Academy fine arts groups showcase their accomplishments—and such is true of the Senior Drama classes.
Taught by Mr. Chuck Nicholas, both of the senior classes spent the semester casting, rehearsing, costuming and advertising a play. On May 9, each class had an opportunity to present what they had learned. Students not only performed but also sold tickets, managed seating, ran concessions, and worked the lights and sound. Both plays had a fairytale theme and were produced with permission from Pioneer Drama Services. The following plays were successfully performed before a crowd of over 300 people:
Fifth-Hour Senior Drama – Chaos in Fairytale Forest
Sixth-Hour Senior Drama – The Brothers Grimm Out of Order
Senior Drama is taught each year during second semester. Rising seniors may register for the class now.
