Twenty-five Bob Jones Academy high school and middle school band students competed along with nearly 1800 band students from five surrounding South Carolina counties in a first round of auditions for Region One Band membership. The following BJA band students earned chairs in the SC Region One Honor Bands:

These students will be rehearsing and studying under the direction of guest conductors in the Region One Band Clinic held at Furman University on February 24 and 25. They will perform in an honor concert in the McAlister Auditorium on the Furman University campus at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 25. The public is invited to this free concert featuring the South Carolina Region One Honor Bands.
