Columns, arches, swords, shields and gladiators were part of the fun and décor of the 2018 Junior-Senior Banquet. Hosted by the junior class officers and class members, the banquet carried through the theme of “All Roads Lead to Rome: An Evening of Feast and Festivities.” The junior class goal of honoring the senior class for their upcoming graduation from high school was fulfilled with elaborate decorations, good food served by members of the sophomore class, a play set in days of gladiators, a video featuring the senior class and a senior version of the Triangle. The play, The Last Gladiator by Martin Follose, was directed by Mr. Chuck Nicholas and included a cast of sixteen juniors all playing various Roman roles such as gladiators, senators, royalty and commoners. The evening ended with a presentation of a time capsule to be opened by the senior class at their ten-year reunion and with a challenge from Dr. Sam Horn of BJU.
