Late this morning, the Academy was notified that an immediate family member of a person associated with our high school and Bob Jones University tested positive for COVID-19. Neither the Academy nor the University has held in-person classes the last two weeks.
As BJU President Steve Pettit has emphasized, our primary concern is the health of our students and employees and their families. We encourage students, faculty and staff to self-monitor according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention protocols. Those exhibiting symptoms should contact their primary care provider. Common symptoms include cough, fever, shortness of breath, and tiredness.
Please pray for the family member who has contracted this disease.
