Seventh-graders from Bob Jones Academy Middle School recently enjoyed a day at The Wilds Christian Camp in Brevard, N.C. The trip is an annual event for BJA-MS seventh-graders. Students began their day with a devotional challenge and then turned their attention to the various activities The Wilds offers. Throughout the morning, students rode the giant swing and the land trolley, tested their skill on the rifle range, and played human foosball, gazeball, and miniature golf. Following a picnic lunch, the afternoon brought hikes to waterfalls with opportunities for a plunge in the stream. After the hike, students could go tubing, ride the waterslide or go to the lake for boating, the lake trolley, jump tower, and perhaps most entertaining of all, the “blob.”
