Twenty-two Bob Jones Academy high school and middle school band students competed along with over 2000 band students from five surrounding counties in a first round of auditions for Region One Band membership. The following BJA band students earned chairs in the South Carolina Region One Honor Bands:

These students will be rehearsing and studying under the direction of guest conductors in the Region One Band Clinic held at Converse College February 21–22. They will perform in an honors concert in the Twichell Auditorium on the Converse College campus at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 22. The public is invited to this concert featuring the Region One Honor Bands.
