Twenty-five high school and middle school band students competed along with nearly 1800 band students from five surrounding counties in South Carolina in a first round of auditions for Region One Band membership. The following BJA band students earned chairs in the SC Region One Honor Bands:

These students will be rehearsing and studying under the direction of guest conductors in the Region One Band Clinic held at Furman University on February 20 and 21. They will perform in an honors concert in the McAlister Auditorium on the Furman University campus at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 21. The public is invited to this free concert featuring SC Region One Honor Bands.
