On Saturday, February 28, the Bob Jones Academy Mock Trial Team participated in the Piedmont Regional of the South Carolina Bar’s High School Mock Trial Competition. Out of 10 schools from across the Upstate, the BJA team was one of three to advance to the state competition which was held March 13 and 14 in Columbia. Out of 52 teams to compete statewide this year, the BJA team finished second. This marks the eleventh time in 25 years that BJA has finished first or second in the state of South Carolina. The students won individual awards:
