Senior Robert Stuber reached the rank of Eagle Scout recently. A member of Troop 519, Robert has earned at least 42 merit badges in a wide variety of areas including all the required badges for Eagle and many camp-outs and hikes. His Eagle project and all requirements were completed before his 18th birthday in September of 2017. His Eagle project (which he had to plan, organize, fund and coordinate the building with help from family, friends and his fellow scouts) was the building of two stand-alone 8-foot benches with backs and two 8-foot picnic tables with built-in benches. These were built to benefit the Academy of Arts Logos Theater and ministry for an outdoor eating and fellowship area located near their volleyball greenspace that was much needed and appreciated. Robert and his sisters work and volunteer for the Academy of Arts ministry.
Robert has helped with many other Eagle/community projects. Robert was a Patrol leader and Quartermaster for his Troop leadership as well as helping many of the younger Troop boys. Robert also earned a rank in the Order of the Arrow, a position of honor voted and conferred by his fellow scout troop members. He is already approved and has begun helping his Troop as an adult leader and may continue in that and possibly even help with the Venture program for scouts up to 21 years of age.
Robert’s Eagle Code of Honor ceremony by his Troop was the last and final honor for his scouting achievements.
