The BJA seventh graders enjoyed a day at The Wilds Christian Camp near Rosman, N.C., Friday, September 16, 2011. After a bus ride to the camp, students gathered for a meeting and a gospel challenge before taking on various camp opportunities.
The morning was spent enjoying the Giant Swing, the Land Trolley, the Climbing Wall, the rifle range, Gazee-ball, human-foosball, miniature golf and more. Everyone was refreshed by a picnic lunch at the Activities Center before going for a hike to the waterfalls.
After returning from the falls, students had several opportunities to get wet—tubing in the creek, riding the SuperSlide down the hillside,
paddleboating or kayaking at the lake, or participating in activities at the swimming area, such as the Blob, the Jump Tower, the Lake Trolley or the Lake Slide.
Through it all, students enjoyed visiting with each other and the beautiful natural surroundings in the North Carolina mountains. After a stop for dinner in Hendersonville, the students returned home Friday night—tired but happy.
