On March 1–2, 2013, the Bob Jones Academy Forensic Team competed in the S.C.F.C.A. Speech and Debate State Championship. After five rounds of competition against top competitors in the state, the following students broke to elimination rounds and then on to placing in the top in the state:

STATE Champion in Dramatic Interpretation – Margaret Stegall
Helena Sullivan and Margaret Stegall also qualified for the National Tournament of Champions to be held in May in San Antonio, Texas.
