Scientist Dunshee recently delivered a blast of a science lesson on volcanoes to second-graders. Each explosion produced a higher and higher spray of “volcanic ash” that spewed into the sky. The classes had to scramble back and then watched in awe as the last blast sprayed up and out. Mr. Dunshee is a 3M scientist from Minnesota and the grandfather of William, a student in grade 2. Look out, dads, these experiments may just have sparked an interest in a budding scientist!
