From Wednesday (October 26) through Friday (October 28), seventh-graders enjoyed an agenda-filled trip to the Creation Museum, Big Bone Lick State Park and the Ark Encounter. Upon arrival at the Creation Museum, the students took a group photo with Ken Ham, had a Camp Infinity orientation session, ate supper, and enjoyed an entertaining and informative presentation from CM’s Bryan Osborne. Thursday began with breakfast at Potter’s Ranch followed by a full day of CM activities—viewing exhibits, watching special presentations, eating pizza, riding zip lines, and finishing with astronomy in the planetarium with CM’s Danny Faulkner. After breakfast Friday, the students went to Big Bone Lick State Park where an engaging park naturalist presented the evolutionary view of the fossil record. They also saw a small herd of bison. The group then traveled to the Ark Encounter where they were amazed by the size of the ark. Outside and inside, it is a truly impressive vessel! All in all, the trip provided great lessons and powerful presentations of God’s truth.
