On March 18 and 19, the Bob Jones Academy Forensic Team competed in the 2011 National Forensic League District Qualifier Tournament held at Riverside High School. 
The tournament was held to determine the South Carolina students who will represent the state in various speech and debate events at the NFL National Tournament to be held in Dallas, TX, in June.
The following students placed and will participate at the National tournament:
Sophomore Daniel Leung in Lincoln-Douglas Debate
Seniors Benjamin Nicholas and Drew Petersen in Duo Interpretation
In addition to this, Benjamin Nicholas was recognized as the runner up South Caroina NFL Student of the Year and as the top South Carolina NFL All-American based on his accumulated competition points over four years.
